Katy Perry leads the pack with the most nominations this year with 10 nominations including VIDEO OF THE YEAR, BEST FEMALE, BEST POP, BEST COLLABORATION and new category BEST VIDEO WITH A MESSAGE. It may be the year of 4 for Beyonce but its 5 for Katy also being the second person in music history and the first female artist to 5 #1 singles off of 1 album. The only person to do that was The late great KING OF POP himself Michael Jackson. Katy will also be in great seating company because she will be on the same row as Britney Spears & Beyonce each of them sitting only inches from each other. Britney will be getting a tribute portion of the show at the tender age of 29 with Lady Gaga presenting her an award. King Bey will perform as well as Chris Brown, Lil’ Wayne, & Adele with Lady Gaga kicking off the show as only she can with what I’m sure it’s going to be a water cooler moment on Monday. Selena Gomez will be the there with her beau Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian will be there fresh off her honeymoon, Nicki Minaj is also slated to be there as well. This award show is being pumped to be EPIC but one can only hope, it is on Michael Jackson’s birthday I’m sure he’s looking down on his peers and giving them his blessing. R.I.P Michael J. Jackson.
